Philosophy
“Being entirely honest with oneself is a good exercise.” -Freud
There are no two patients who are alike, their symptoms may appear similar, but they are individuals with different upbringing, different culture, different religious views and the most important different genetic makeup. I practice psychiatric treatment based on the individual person and not based just on the standard treatment protocol. Science and evidence-based treatment guidelines directs patients’ treatments and outcomes. Patients are viewed holistically with parents, teachers and external providers involved.
WHAT WE DO
Psychiatric Evaluation
What is a psychiatric evaluation? A psychiatric evaluation in its simplest form is to gather information from the patient. If it is a minor, obtaining collateral from the child’s parents or legal guardians, teachers, or external providers. These information is then combined with rating scales completed by the patient and the neuropsychological report to come up with a diagnosis whether it's behavioral, emotional or developmental.

What We Do
Medication Management
Medication management is the process of prescribing, monitoring for adverse effects and therapeutic benefits. The medication management frequency is based on how the patient is doing and the acuity of the symptoms presented by the patient.
WHAT WE DO
Psychodynamic Focused Psychotherapy of Adults
What is psychodynamic focused psychotherapy? Psychodynamic psychotherapy is like psychoanalysis. It’s an in-depth form of talk therapy, based on the same theoretical framework of allowing the patient to understand the unconscious to the conscious level by various therapeutic techniques. The difference between psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapy is the frequency of treatment and the length of treatment.
